3rd Quarter

The best part of the quarter was the fact that we didn’t have any group projects. What i wish i could change is that public health grade…(its something serious). What i plan to do differently is to try a just more to Ms. Ali’s teaching style. I am looking forward to the end of the 9th grade since ill be one year closer to graduation.

My carbon footprint

My carbon footprint was the highest in Travel. It was the highest because we have a lot of cars that we use for different purposes. my Carbon footprint the lowest was in housing. Its the lowest because we try not to use as much utilities as possible to keep a low bill. My house holds total carbon footprint was 60. It is 14.2% better than an average household in durham. I can help by turning off the light, and plant trees.

My fav. article

my article was about a pregnant woman who was pregnant and got fired from her job. She was a nurse and got fired for refusing to get the flu vaccination. Since she was pregnant it was the best in her mind to not the the vaccination to protect her unborn child. It is interesting to me how she can get fired from her job because of a health concern. She is protecting her baby’s health and that should not be a way to just fire someone. Many people refuse to get the flu shot and is not getting fired from there job. So why should she?

reflection

i think my grades in all my classes are ok. I mean they are still passing but i really could do better. I think they are going the way they are because this is a lot more then i’m use to. I think i did good on the quest. I just went over the notes. I plan to be on my P’s and Q’s and get all my work done.

working with new people

The more we work together the more ill get to know them better. I was fine with working with all the people in my old classes because everyone knew everyone and everyone was together. Now since we have new classes its a lot harder for me to get to no these people most of them i’ve never seen in my life. Well maybe in the hallway but i had no reason to talk to them. Now we have new people in these classes i have to… i didn’t think i had to till now.

Since i would never have to talk to these people and now i do i  got to get to at lease no them a little bit. To do this ill try to at least be friendly to them and say hi. I also need to learn these names they are something serious! I no the people that where in my classes last semester but the rest of them nope not at all. When we have groups and some of them are in my group ill try to be friendly and include them into the group.

idealist ENFP

my personality came out to be idealist.  it says i have a variety of emotions which is true. It also says i enjoy novelty which is kind of true to a certain point. At the same time i do like to read. it says i can read other and there emotions which is true i can tell if something is going on in a lot of people.

Field trip tomorrow expectations

two interesting things i have learned from my project are The printing press. How it was so resourceful and how much it has revolved now. That versilus was an inspirational author. Yes i have been to many museums. i am expecting a good experience i have been there before so it will be good to refresh myself. Im not that excited but it is good to get away from school

The universe

While finding about our universe i have found many things i have not know about. At 10^-2.7 a duckweed which is a plant that floats in water, It has no roots or stems. The next item was a shrew which is a rodent that has a high metabolism and brain that is 10% of there body weight 10^-1.0.  At 10^3.0 is the tallest building in the world burj kalifia. Vatican city is the smallest country 10^2.9. Io has a lot of volcanos and is the most volcanic in our solar system 10^6.6. There are many more things to learn about our universe.

 

Bubonic Plague

prior to the bubonic plague the population growth humans demonstrate a logistic increase came form the warming of the climate. After the plague the population growth has changed to not increasing as much as it did before the plague. The significance of the black death was a ragging disease that caused the death of many people in the middle ages and contributed to the end of feudalism. I think the best therapist for them during the middle ages is an occupational therapist because the deal with physical medicine.

project #3 reflection

we have been using our time wisely and making sure we get everything done in time because the project has gone by very fast. I am happy with the work we have completed so far. we all worked hard to get what we have done now. It might have some adjustments but very minor things. we can start to add lots of details and images to get our point across and have references so its not so unknowledgeable about what we are trying to get our point across.
